Self-review planning cycles
On this page:
Self-review planning cycles help ensure a strategic whole-school approach to bullying prevention. Each school should develop and agree to a self-review cycle as part of the planning and preparation phase. An example is shown below (the guidance provided in this section is based on this model).
Self-review cycles should be designed to fit within a 3-5 year timeframe, with annual reviews to refresh/revise planning and ensure everything is on track. A complete review of the overall bullying prevention plan should be carried out every 3-5 years.
There are various self-review models available, and schools should choose or create a model that suits its individual values and culture.
