Bullying-Free NZ Week 2022
He kōtuinga mahi iti, he hua pai-ā rau
Small ripples create big waves
This year’s Bullying-Free New Zealand week was all about focusing on the positive mahi already happening in school communities across Aotearoa to support safe, inclusive school cultures where everyone is being heard and listened to, and feels they belong.
Can you think of someone that makes you feel good every time you see them? Do you just want to say thank you to that one person who helped you get through a tough time? Is there someone local you know of who goes the extra mile to awhi others?
We are on a hunt for Local Legends and would love to hear from you. No matter how big or small the action might be, together we can shine a light on people already doing things that make a difference and inspire others to do the same.
Let's spread the word and aroha.
The nomination process for Local Legends has ended.
Bullying-Free New Zealand Week took place from 16-20 May in conjunction with Pink Shirt Day, on Friday. The week followed the theme He kōtuinga mahi iti, he hua pai-ā rau: Small ripples create big waves.
